In 2003 Tyldesley Swimming and Water Polo Club honoured its 11 life members at the club's annual presentation evening
at Tyldesley Rugby Club by presenting them with a gift in recognition of the hard work that they had given and, in many cases,
still are giving.
The number of years as life members totalled 127 years but, of course, each member has many more years service, holding
several positions within the club, giving many hours of voluntary hard work and dedication before they were made life members.

The 11th member, Tom Pritchard was unable to attend the event.
In 2005 Diane Stafford was made a Life Member and was honoured at the 2006 Presentation Evening which was held at the
Tyldesley Rugby Club.
In 2006 Alan Stafford was made a Life Member and was honoured at the 2007 Presentation Evening which was held
at the Tyldesley Rugby Club.
