Swim Camp
On 21st
September 2008 the club organised a swim camp at the Leigh Sports Village.The
swim camp was run by Chris Cook, who has won a Commonwealth Games gold and reached an Olympic final.He shared his knowledge and expertise as an international swimmer by taking part in a two hour training
session followed by a “goal getting”and “motivational” talk.
Trip to Ponds Forge
Seniors warm up for their match
On 27th September 2008 20 Adults and 30 young members travelled by coach to support the Senior Water Polo Team in the National league at Sheffield
Ponds Forge and also enjoyed themselves in Surf City.The support was appreciated
by the team who won both their matches.
